The Race The Martindale Triathlon is reputed to be the oldest triathlon in the State of Texas.
The Run  
The 7 mile run is the first event of the Martindale Triathlon.  The starting line is on 1979 at the entrance to Spencers Canoe and Shady Grove campground.
The Bike Over the years, the 16.5 mile bike loop course starting at finishing at Shady Grove CampGround has gone through the least amount of changes as compared to the run and paddle courses.
The Paddle   The 5.5 mile canoe/kayak paddle follows the cycling segment and is the final event.  The start of the paddle is at Spencers Canoe and Shady Grove Campground in Martindale and follows the San Marcos River to the Staples Bridge.

Welcome to the Martindale Triathlon official website.  We recently opened the new website for business and would like to welcome all racers and spectators back for another great year or multi-event racing.

Our event course is the same as the previous three years.  
Run Distance 7 miles
Bike Distance 16.5 miles
Paddle Distance 5.5 miles
